"After a long and frustrating search for the ‘right’ builder partner for our new home construction project, we feel so fortunate to have been referred to Ash Richardson last spring.
The key construction topics of proposed timing and budget were handled quickly and easily, and she delivered on both aspects for us, and at a fair management fee for her services.
Just as importantly for our project was Ash’s ‘fit’ and communication with us – she was direct, forthright and prompt to reply with answers to our never-ending list of questions and (many crazy) ideas, and she used her extensive experience to guide and advise us on each step of our project.
Ash worked with us to get at least 3 quotes on each material and trades bid, helping us to make the best decisions for our home and budget. She has developed great loyalty and synergy with her key material suppliers, but she also allowed us to bring in some new potential suppliers for consideration, based on product quality and price.
She also earned the loyalty and respect of her various trades teams, and they showed up to our building site day after day to get their work done, and they were also respectful of us as the owners! The fact that most of her trades have worked on other past projects for Ash allowed them to be on site at the same time, doing their work simultaneously. This labour overlap was a huge part of our success to move into our 5,000 sqft home just 9 ½ months after the first day of excavation. Most other builders proposed 12-20 months!
